Custom Designs.

There are two ways a new design is created. 

The first is a design that we create. These designs are inspired by a specific and often personal need. Many of these designs end up being offered as part of our Signature Design collection.

The second is a Custom Design made by request from an individual.  This may take form as a completely new design or could be a significant change to an existing model.  Either way, Custom Design is incredibly fulfilling and is the heart and soul of Whitaker & Kate.  Occasionally a Custom Design has features that are striking and broadly appealing. Those designs often get added to our Signature Design collection and are named after the person it was originally made for.  We already have models like “the Morgan Purse” and “The Wendy Tote”.
