This was the design that started them all.  The original weekender bag was the first bag I made and was the one that frequently got me stopped in the airport.  The weekender bag is perfect for a weekend getaway and is large enough to hold a pair of shoes, dobb kit and a couple changes of clothes.  When made from our natural vegetable tanned leather or bridle leather it is an elegant travel bag.  When made in our rugged water buffalo it is a perfect large field bag.  The bag can be customized however desired, but the standard design comes with external side pockets with strap closure, rear pocket, rear adjustable straps which are perfect for fly rods, small jacket or umbrella.  The bag also features internal pockets and a shoulder strap.
